Your role will be

Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on sewage treatment plant equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system faults, minimising downtime and maintaining compliance with operational standards.
Monitor plant performance, analyse operational data, and recommend improvements to optimise treatment processes and asset reliability.
Conduct emergency call-outs and respond promptly to equipment failures, implementing effective corrective actions to restore service.
Complete detailed service reports, maintenance records, and compliance documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with site operators, contractors, and customers to provide technical support, ensure safe working practices, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

Required Skills

Full UK driving licence with the ability to travel independently to customer sites and respond to emergency call-outs.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of sewage treatment plant equipment.
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, pumps, motors, control systems, and associated plant machinery.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workloads.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and provide clear technical guidance to clients and colleagues
