About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator & Bookkeeper to join our small team at our office in Bude. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting day-to-day accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time. Including dealing with CIS and auto enrolment pensions.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Handle payroll queries from clients and liaise with relevant authorities when required.
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements.
- Prepare MTD submissions
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using accounting software.
- General office administration
Requirements
- Previous experience in payroll administration.
- Book-keeping experience desirable
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of accounting software preferable – VT, Xero, Quickbooks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
