DRUMTOCHTY CASTLE EXCLUSIVE USE WEDDING

FULL TIME HOUSEKEEPER

We are a luxury exclusive use wedding venue that has gone from strength to strength in recent years, doubling our bookings. We are committed to maintaining a supportive and inclusive workplace and are looking for a full time housekeeper to join our team.

We pride ourselves on delivering first class experiences for our guests, and our mission is to be the very best at what we do.

About you:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a keen eye for detail and who will work to the high standard we provide to our guests at Drumtochty.

The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis, contracted to 30-34 hours, 5 days per week, which will include working evenings and weekends on a rotation basis. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning of bedrooms, includes but not limited to, making beds, removing rubbish, vacuuming, mopping, dusting.
Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
Cleaning of communal areas including function rooms, hallways, kitchens.
Ensuring the correct use of cleaning products and materials with care.
Serving guests at breakfast; ensuring buffet items and coffee/tea remain fresh and well-stocked throughout breakfast service. Clearing used plates, glassware and cutlery, and cleaning room once breakfast service has has finished.

Pre-requisites:

Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisor and line manager.
Physical fitness and strength to work; while standing, operating cleaning equipment and to lift heavy objects or furniture.
Ability to adhere to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards to maintain a high standard of service for guests.
Excellent customer service when dealing with guests and interpersonal skills for working in a team alongside colleagues to ensure tasks are completed.
Full drivers license required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
