Job Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Security Officer and become the frontline guardian of safety and security across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your proactive approach will ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and assets while upholding our commitment to a safe and welcoming environment.

The role is nightshift only working Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Total hours per week is 39.5

Duties

Patrol designated zones on foot or vehicle to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing first aid when needed and coordinating with emergency services.
Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and staff before granting access to secure areas.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Enforce security policies and procedures consistently while fostering a safe environment for everyone on site.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid SIA licence.
Must hold full drivers licence.
Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Ability to perform loss prevention duties effectively with keen observation skills.
Good communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods comfortably.
A responsible attitude with high integrity and attention to detail.
