Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring excellent service delivery, and maintaining high standards across all areas of the business. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for team management to contribute significantly to organisational success. The position is paid and requires a proactive approach to supervising staff and coordinating activities efficiently.

Duties

Lead and supervise team members to achieve departmental goals while maintaining high levels of motivation and morale.
Organise daily schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to ensure operational efficiency.
Oversee merchandising activities, ensuring products are displayed attractively and stock levels are maintained appropriately.
Manage sales targets by supporting team members in customer engagement and upselling techniques.
Maintain excellent communication with staff, customers, and management through clear and professional phone etiquette.
Conduct regular training sessions to develop team skills in sales, customer service, and organisational procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies at all times.
Handle administrative responsibilities such as reporting, record keeping, and organising stock inventories.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Skills

Proven management experience with a strong background in supervising teams within retail or sales environments.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate diverse customer interactions and team communication.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in team management and supervising staff across various functions.
Proficiency in merchandising, sales management, and retail operations.
Sound time management skills to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality standards.
Administrative experience including record keeping, reporting, and organisational planning.
Professional phone etiquette combined with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities seamlessly. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in leadership positions and possess a comprehensive skill set encompassing management, communication, organisation, and customer service excellence.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
