Runshaw College is one of the most successful colleges in the country, renowned locally and nationally for our outstanding results, a friendly and supportive culture, and a focus on putting the student at the heart of all we do.
We value our staff and students highly, and invest heavily in their development, support and wellbeing. Situated in Leyland, Lancashire, the College is near the M6, M61 and M65 and within commuting distance of Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District.
The School of Business and Digital Technologies is looking for two dedicated and innovative teachers to join our growing team. The school’s digital provision comprises A Level Computer Science, Advanced and Pre-advanced Vocational courses, T Level Digital Production Design and Development, and essential digital skills courses for adult learners. We are particularly looking for candidates who can, in the first instance, contribute to A Level Computer Science and/or our exciting new Level 3 Cyber Security and Computing course (which also includes elements of Application Development and Networking). We welcome applications from newly qualified, early career and more experienced teachers, and there is the added possibility of course leadership responsibility for a suitable candidate.
This a truly exciting time to be joining the Digital team at Runshaw. Our students are actively involved in the National Cyber Security Centre’s Cyber Bursary scheme, and we work with both high schools and higher education to promote and prepare students for careers in the region’s growing cyber security sector. You will be joining a high performing team that puts all our learners at the heart of everything we do. You will be enthusiastic, committed to continuous improvement, and motivated to engage in further career development in subject knowledge, pedagogy, and links with industry. You will also be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Closing date is 12 noon, Friday 19th June 2026
