Weddings and Events Co-ordinator

Shaw Hill Golf & Spa Hotel is a venue set in a beautiful Georgian manor surrounded by a stunning 18-hole golf course. We offer a multitude of products and services including Golf Breaks, Spa Breaks, Hotel Stays and Bespoke Weddings.

We are looking to add a highly driven and passionate Wedding and Events Co-ordinator to our team. You will be responsible for meeting challenging targets in relation to weddings, functions, corporate events, private dining bookings and seasonal events. You’ll be responsible for driving sales in all our income streams as well as at wedding fairs, open days, and following up on initial enquiries, show rounds and appointments. Excellent communication is required with all departments to ensure the smooth running of events. You will ensure that all our guests have the best possible experience; attention to detail is key.

The right candidate will -

· Follow leads created from social media and engaging with customers online. Contact all other enquiries daily to ensure all potential customers have been provided the information required.

· Ensure all administration for the function/event is complete and accurate including contracts, payments, accommodation allocation, menu choices and function sheets.

· Develop a personal rapport with clients that will encourage trust and confidence.

· Have experience of working in events.

· Be warm and welcoming.

· Deliver amazing hospitality.

· Be a strong team player, but also have the ability to work independently.

· Have a great eye for detail

· Demonstrate strong communication skills and understanding of the products we offer.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £28,500.00 per year
