- Lead technical and commercial proposal writing, tender submissions, pricing, and project planning.
- Manage delivery of additional works, hard services projects, and capital improvement programmes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key national and regional customers, acting as a trusted technical partner.
- Work closely with operational leads, engineering teams, and business development colleagues to convert pipeline opportunities into delivered projects.
- Review plant and asset condition reports to develop practical replacement, upgrade, and energy-saving recommendations.
- Monitor project performance against budgets, SLAs, KPIs, safety, quality, and customer expectations.
- Support cross-functional collaboration across regional service, repair, and project teams throughout the UK.
- Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and strong commercial performance across your portfolio.
- Lead and support team development, coaching, and performance management where required.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the renewable energy or HVAC sectors, particularly with heat pumps or sustainable systems.
- A track record of managing technical projects from concept and proposal through to delivery and handover.
- Commercial awareness, including pricing, margin management, budgeting, and cash flow understanding.
- Ability to interpret technical information and turn asset insights into practical customer solutions.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and effective time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) alongside specialised project management tools.
- Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence customers, site teams, and internal departments.
- Knowledge of health, safety, quality, and compliance requirements within building services environments.
- Experience managing teams, supporting development, and maintaining high performance standards.
- Flexibility to work across regional and national projects as required.
