Full job description

Are you passionate about safeguarding, wellbeing and supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes?

We are looking for a dedicated Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to join our Student Support team and play a key role in promoting the safety, wellbeing and success of our learners.

Working closely with the Head of Safeguarding and Wellbeing, you will provide high-quality safeguarding and wellbeing support, managing a caseload of learners and delivering timely interventions for those who may be vulnerable or at risk of harm.

What we're looking for

You will have:

A minimum Level 3 qualification in a related discipline such as social care, mental health or mentoring.
Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and guidance, including KCSIE and Prevent.
Experience working with young people and vulnerable adults, particularly those with mental health or wellbeing needs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with learners, colleagues and external stakeholders.
A genuine passion for supporting young people in a diverse learning environment.

Interviews are expected to take place from week commencing 17th of August onwards.
