£16.12 per hour (£12.90 plus 25% enhancement £3.22)

St Catherines Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, District nursing etc) across West Sussex and East Surrey.

The Role:

This post is offered on a bank basis, working ad-hoc shifts to cover periods of absence, holiday and business need. Our Housekeeping shifts are 7.30am - 1pm and 1pm - 6.30pm. This is a great opportunity for work life balance in a meaningful and rewarding role, ensuring our high standards of cleanliness are maintained.

About You:

We are seeking a hard working Housekeeping Assistant with excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude to join our dedicated Support Services Team.

As a Bank Housekeeper, you play a vital role in allowing our service to operate.

Housekeeping Assistant Responsibilities:

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in both clinical and non-clinical areas
Following infection prevention and control procedures throughout your work
Cleaning and maintaining patients rooms, with sensitivity, compassion and respect
Ensuring all areas are welcoming and safe for patients, visitors and staff

Previous experience of working within a Housekeeping environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
