As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organised, commercially minded and technology-focused Business Development & Marketing Executive to help expand our customer base, strengthen customer relationships and support our sales and marketing activities.
This is a varied role that combines business development, customer engagement, CRM management, marketing, digital content creation, social media management and administrative support. The successful candidate will work closely with company leadership and have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Customer Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Manage customer communications and follow-up activities.
- Support sales activities including quotations, proposals, presentations and demonstrations.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Maintain awareness of customer requirements, market trends and competitor activity.
- Assist with exhibitions, demonstrations, networking events and customer visits.
- Help develop and maintain sales pipelines.
CRM & Sales Operations
- Take ownership of maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
- Track leads, opportunities, quotations and customer interactions.
- Produce sales reports, forecasts and management updates.
- Improve CRM processes, workflows and data quality.
- Ensure customer information is organised and readily accessible.
Marketing & Digital Content
- Create and maintain professional product datasheets, brochures, presentations and marketing materials.
- Develop website content and product information.
- Create case studies, news articles and customer success stories.
- Assist with product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure all materials align with company branding and quality standards.
Social Media & Communications
- Manage company social media platforms and content schedules.
- Create engaging content including written posts, photography, graphics and video.
- Monitor engagement and analyse performance metrics.
- Increase brand awareness and audience engagement.
- Support external communications and public relations activities.
AI & Digital Transformation
- Use AI tools to improve productivity, research, content creation and business processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflows.
- Support the adoption of modern digital tools across sales and marketing activities.
- Leverage AI-assisted research and analysis to support business development activities.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency through technology.

Applicants must be highly IT literate and comfortable using modern business software and digital tools.
Essential experience includes:
- Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- CRM systems such as HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce or similar.
- Digital content creation tools.
- Social media management platforms.
- WYSIWYG Website Design (Wix)
- Website content management systems (CMS).
- AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude or equivalent.
- Creating professional reports, presentations and marketing materials.
- Data management, reporting and dashboard creation.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate practical use of AI tools to improve productivity, content creation, research, marketing activities and business processes.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in business development, sales, account management or marketing.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, defence, aerospace or technology sectors.
- Graphic design, photography or videography skills.
- Experience with SEO, Google Analytics or digital advertising.
- Familiarity with automation tools and AI-powered workflows.
- Interest in drones, robotics, defence technology or unmanned systems.

Pay: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
