Full job description

We are looking for an experienced legal secretary to join our experienced and friendly team at our Hereford office.

Experience of similar work in a legal background or a similar role is essential. This is a secretarial role so similar experience is required.

The ideal candidate will need to be proficient in the use of microsoft office and have the ability to type from dictations for the role.

You will require excellent communication skills, excellent organisation skills, excellent IT skills, accuracy, a professional telephone manner and a positive attitude towards your work with the ability to work to tight deadlines and cope with changing priorities.

Salary is negotiable and will be dependent on experience and proven knowledge.

The job will involve but not limited to:-

Typing from dictation and copy typing
Producing documents and reports
Dealing with client queries
Filing
Scanning
Photocopying
Completing online and paper forms
Diary management
Familiarity with legal document presentation would be preferred

22 days leave per year (pro rata) plus bank holidays and an additional day for your birthday. Additional leave is earned through length of service.

SSP for the first year then paid sick leave after 1 year of service.
