Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a PMO Project Manager to join our Project Management Office [PMO] team where you'll support us with work transfer and new product introduction in our highly regulated industry.
This role will be based at our Staverton site however the role includes travel to other Ontic sites and customer locations globally, providing exposure to international programmes and senior stakeholders early in your career.

The Role:
As PMO Project Manager you will support the delivery of work transfer, new product introduction, and site integration projects whilst assisting in managing complex, global projects using structured project management methodologies
You will work closely with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams and help define project scope, plans, milestones, and success criteria. This involves developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and support resource planning, tracking dependencies, risks, issues, and actions across projects.
A high degree of monitoring progress against plans and escalate where timelines or scope are at risk, preparing and maintain clear, accurate project documentation and reporting whilst supporting risk & opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle
This is a varied role that will also allow you to develop into our: Learn and apply Ontic project governance, quality, and assurance processes and gradually take on greater ownership as confidence and capability grow.

Candidates should have some experience in: Project coordination, project management, engineering, operations, or manufacturing environments.
Experience within regulated industries such as aerospace, defence, automotive, or medical sectors would be advantageous, as would an understanding of project management principles, operational structures, change management concepts, and tools such as MS Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), with knowledge of MS Project being beneficial. A willingness to travel and collaborate across different sites and cultures is also important.
