We have a position for an extremely motivated Full-Time Motorhome Sales Person to join our team of helpful and friendly staff becoming a key member of our proven sales team with a particularly high regard for customer care
The successful applicant will join a very effective Sales Department, responsible for selling a wide range of both new and used Motorhomes, Campervans and occasionally Caravans. They must be enthusiastic, self motivated, work well both individually and as part of a team plus place great emphasis on offering a first class customer service.
Although mostly based at Hayling Island you will also be representing the company at various exhibitions throughout the Country ensuring exceptional customer service at all times. Annual visits to the European Motorhome Manufactures may also be incorporated within the job position.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Ideally you would have previously worked within the industry or have experience in a similar busy sales environment selling products from a Leisure retail environment i.e Motorhomes, Caravans, Campervans, Luxury Cars & Marine Craft / Boats Etc... Having the ability to quickly adapt and understand a customers requirements is essential, as is the ability to recall product information on existing and incoming vehicle stock
Monday - Friday working week + Saturday working is essential however this is arranged on a rota basis with lieu days provided.
Key Objectives:
- New & used Motorhome Sales, working to meet individual & team targets.
- Participation in 'In House’, National and regional shows and exhibitions.
- Carrying out general sales duties including test drives, demonstrations, video presentations, handovers, vehicle appraisals, customer refreshments.
- Completion of all the necessary paperwork, updating customer prospecting system and database system.
- Record each sales opportunity, contact and follow-up accurately
- Assist the Sales Manager / General Manager in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales
- Organising new & used motorhome sales display
- Introduce and follow-up suitable sales prospects
- Taking on previous sales staff ongoing contacts & relations
- Ensure extensive and up-to-date knowledge regarding pricing, options, warranties, colours, standard equipment and specifications etc
- Performing any other ad hock tasks, as required, which will help to contribute to the overall performance of the Business

- Languages - must be fluent in English and be able to read, write & spell competently
- Stability under pressure - reacts well to change and stays positive despite setbacks
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to adapt to the companies needs in the way we deliver our service
- Reliable and takes pride in the quality of their work
- Full Clean driving license with own transport. C1 entitlment beneficial
This is a full time, permanent position with an immediate start date available.
