Devonport Health Centre is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Patient Advisor to join our established Reception and Administration team.

The ideal candidate will be committed to a future in general practice.

Experience working within a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential. You will need strong communication skills to ensure our patients receive the very best experience and support to meet their healthcare needs.

The Patient Advisor role is the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. We are looking for a candidate who is confident and motivated to support our patients.

You will need to have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be IT competent and demonstrate a high level of customer service along with excellent organisational skills.

We are a friendly, enthusiastic and innovative practice endeavouring to provide high quality care to our 8000 patients.

Benefits of working with us include a NHS Pension, onsite secure parking and 4 weeks holiday in the first year of employment increasing to 5 weeks in the second year.

We are required to open from 8am to 6.30pm contractually so the candidate will need to be available between the hours of 7.45am and 6.30pm, and flexible to cover sickness and annual leave as needed. Hours are currently Monday to Friday with a fixed rota.

The position is 29.25 hours. The successful candidate must be able to work at least two full days per week (one hour unpaid lunch.)

Monday 7.45am to 12noon & 1pm to 6.30pm

Thursday 7.45am to 12noon & 1pm to 6.30pm

Friday 7.45am to 12noon & 1pm to 6.30pm
