Full job description

You must be able to :

- Plumb including heating and various hot water systems

- Install Bathroom suites

- Tile to a very good standard

- Lay flooring etc

- Work to a set timescale

- Be willing to take direction and similarly, use your own initiative

Pay (The important part)

£240-£280+ per day depending on your experience. If you can do it all, the higher end.

CIS will be deducted from your rate of pay unless you are exempt/net rate.

Background/Overview

We are a successful Portsmouth based plumbing and heating company that has years of experience in the bathroom fitting world.

We are looking for a new team of self employed bathroom fitters (ideally an installer and labourer) to join our team for continuous work specifically fitting bathrooms in Portsmouth and surrounding areas.

We are currently a team of 5, all of our installers and engineers have had the availability of work every day of the week since they have joined us, we have a full diary and will be able to keep you busy for the long run.

Requirements

You must be able to complete the following to a high level

Plumbing and heating

- You need to be able to work with different hot/cold watersystems and understand how to drain and refill heating systems without assistance

- You need to be able to install all aspects of a bathroom, from a concealed shower valve to a frame hung toilet

Other

- Carpentry and general building (You need to be able to replace subfloors etc and to know when to make the right call when it comes to further works)

- Tiling (You need to be able to tile to a very good finish, including trim work and different formats)
