Full job description

We're looking for a Member Operations Manager to lead our Loans and Branch teams, making sure every single member interaction; whether it's a loan application or a branch visit, is a good one.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who's led teams before, and who wants real ownership of how a lending and branch operation actually runs day to day.

What you'll be doing:

Providing day-to-day leadership and line management to the Loans Team Lead and Branch Team Lead, setting the standard across both teams
Driving strategic objectives into operational plans and targets for both teams.
Owning performance - service levels, loan quality, complaints, member satisfaction, and knowing when to step in.
Act as the operational escalation point for complex issues raised by the Team Leads.
Keeping compliance and risk standards tight across lending and branch operations
Partnering with our Member Services Manager, being jointly accountable for ensuring every member interaction, across branch, lending, and member services, is a positive one.
Spotting better ways of doing things - and making them happen
Coaching and developing your Team Leads
Getting involved in projects that shape where we go next; new products, digital changes and more.

What we're looking for

Proven experience managing managers or team leads with experience a regulated financial services environment is advantageous.
Multi-site leadership experience along with a track record of hitting KPIs across multiple teams simultaneously.
Someone who can build genuine credibility with compliance, audit, partners, and regulators.
A leader who's as comfortable with a spreadsheet of KPIs as they are having a difficult conversation with a team member.
Commercially sharp, but never at the expense of doing right by members.
