We’re looking for a motivated and results-driven Telesales Team Leader to lead a small team of telesales advisors while remaining actively involved in sales activity. This is a hands-on role, combining personal sales performance with coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day team leadership. This role is based within the Leeds office, while also working closely with the Barnsley team to help support our growing business by reporting and assisting our Direct Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead from the front by maintaining high outbound call activity and achieving individual sales targets.
- Support the delivery of team sales, conversion, and activity goals.
- Provide real-time coaching, call monitoring, and performance feedback to improve results.
- Motivate and support team members, creating a positive and high-performing sales culture.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new advisors.
- Monitor performance, identify development needs, and support improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with sales processes, quality standards, and customer service expectations.
- Support campaign execution, operational efficiency, and day-to-day telesales activities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven telesales or outbound sales experience with a strong track record of achieving targets.
- Previous team leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience.
- Excellent communication, motivation, and people development skills.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, objection handling, and customer engagement.
- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Organised, proactive, and committed to delivering high standards of performance.
