Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Physiology department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals for an organised and motivated Admin Coordinator to join our established Cardio-Respiratory Diagnostics administration team. This post will hold dedicated administrative responsibility for the Non-Invasive Cardiology and Sleep services, supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and patient-centred diagnostic pathways. The role is primarily based at St James’s Hospital, with an expectation to provide cross-site support to the Leeds General Infirmary when required.

Working closely with the wider Admin Coordinator team, Clerical Officers and the Patient Service Coordinator team, the post holder will play a key role in clinic coordination, appointment management and day-to-day service administration. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills who can work collaboratively across teams, manage competing priorities, and contribute positively to a busy, supportive administrative environment.

With five Admin Coordinators working collaboratively across services, you will be part of a well-established team that values shared responsibility, clear communication and mutual support. You will also work closely with Clerical Officers and the Patient Service Coordinator team, contributing to a joined-up approach to patient administration.

This role offers the opportunity to develop specialist administrative experience within Non-Invasive Cardiology and Sleep services while being supported by a wider team. What you will bring to the role

Criteria:

Ability to prioritise, plan and organise own workload.

Ability to use and act on own initiative.

Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to the requirements of team members.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and experience of using spreadsheets and databases.
