Location: Various project sites across the region
Employment Type: Full-Time / 50 hours per week (must be flexible)
Reporting To: Site Supervisor / Site Manager
Salary: Up to £28p/hr depending on experience

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work within Yorkshire & the Humber, we are seeking experienced Formwork Joiners to join our site teams.
Role Overview
As a Formwork Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling formwork systems used in reinforced concrete structures on civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site instructions
- Construct and install timber and proprietary formwork systems.
- Assemble, position, and secure shutters and moulds for concrete structures.
- Ensure formwork is correctly aligned and prepared for concrete pours.
- Strip and dismantle formwork safely following completion of works.
- Work collaboratively with site management, engineers, steel fixers, and other trades.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and productivity.
- Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Conduct work in accordance with project quality requirements.
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Formwork Joiner or Shuttering Carpenter.
- Strong understanding of formwork systems and reinforced concrete construction.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid CSCS Card.
Desirable Requirements
- CPCS or NPORS qualifications.
- Experience on civil engineering, highways, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Manual Handling training.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
