Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality industry, working in a welcoming setting that values teamwork and professionalism. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent guest service.
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate the POS system with accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, equipment, and seating spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
Restock supplies as needed, including coffee beans, cups, utensils, and condiments.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
Follow food safety procedures diligently during food preparation and service.
Assist in food preparation tasks when required, supporting overall kitchen operations.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Experience in serving or barista roles is desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A proactive attitude with good time management skills to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
