Located in the affluent and well-connected town of Harrogate, this site benefits from a strong local customer base, excellent commuter links across North Yorkshire and Leeds, and a well-established retail presence, making it an attractive and consistent market for automotive sales.

As our Business Manager you will be pivotal in providing support to the sales team. You will be responsible for building and professionally presenting finance and insurance deals to customers following qualification from the sales team. It is important that you understand all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations, ensuring accurate, compliant and transparent information is always provided.

You will be supporting the department in the delivery of the Group's controlled ActiveSales process and driving the performance of the department to achieve agreed targets. This will involve supporting the management of daily activities and direct customer interaction, with first and second facing customer engagement at its heart. You will support sales colleagues in selling a combination of new and/or used vehicles, alongside a range of add-on products including finance, paint protection, warranty and insurances, whilst consistently delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure, excel at building relationships, possess strong negotiation skills, have excellent communication, and show a proven ability to use their own initiative. You will also be required to hold a full and valid UK Driving Licence.

You also need to have:

Previous experience in a business or sales management role, ideally within the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of financial and insurance product regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage customer interactions professionally and efficiently.
A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
