Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Technical Data Entry Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data within our systems, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring data integrity. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong technical backgroung with excellent computer skills and a background in clerical or administrative work to contribute to our organisation’s efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Inputting data into various software programmes such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace with precision and attention to detail.
Maintaining organised records and files, both electronically and physically, ensuring easy retrieval and security of information.
Verifying the accuracy of data entered by cross-checking with source documents or databases.
From time to time assisting with administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and document management.
Responding professionally to phone enquiries, providing support where necessary, and maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
Collaborating with team members to ensure data consistency across departments.
Updating databases regularly to reflect current information and flagging discrepancies for review.

Qualifications

Proven office experience or previous clerical experience demonstrating organisational skills. Laboratory/Technical Back ground is advantageous.
Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
Strong typing skills with high accuracy and speed.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Good communication skills, including professional phone etiquette.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for candidates who are meticulous, reliable, and eager to support organisational operations through efficient data management.

Pay: £13.10 per hour
