Winserve Care Services Ltd
Service Delivery Coordinator
Location - Leeds
Hours - Full-time
Contract - Permanent
No visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
About the Role
This is not a frontline care role. We’re looking for a sharp, commercially minded graduate who can help us build, grow, and improve our care services from the inside — without ever needing to deliver hands-on care.
As our Service Delivery Coordinator, you’ll sit at the operational heart of Winserve Care Services: managing rotas, driving our tendering and bid activity, building scalable processes, and leading quality improvement across the business. You’ll work directly with senior management and have real influence over how we grow.
Full on-the-job training will be provided across all areas of the role. What we need from you is the analytical mindset, the academic foundation, and the ambition to grow into a senior operational leader.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operations & Rota Management
- Plan, build, and manage staff rotas to ensure consistent, on-time service delivery
- Monitor resource allocation and identify scheduling gaps or inefficiencies
- Maintain accurate operational records in line with regulatory and data requirements
- Support on-call operational queries on a rota basis
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key processes
- Track KPIs and produce operational performance reports for senior management
Tendering, Finance & Quality
- Research, prepare, and submit tenders and bids for new care packages and local authority contracts
- Analyse contract pricing, margins, and financial viability of new packages
- Support budget tracking, cost analysis, and financial reporting
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to internal audits
- Support compliance and inspection readiness — full training provided
- Liaise with commissioners, local authority contacts, and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a graduate with a strong academic foundation and the commercial awareness to understand how a service business operates — financially, operationally, and contractually. No prior care or sector experience is needed; full training will be provided.
Essential
- Degree-level qualification (any discipline, preference for Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field)
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, comfortable working with data, budgets, and financial models
- Knowledge of economics, finance, or accounts (academic or practical)
- Willing to learn AI tools and digital integration to improve operational efficiency
- Excellent written communication able to write clearly and persuasively for tenders and reports
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and Word
- Proactive and solutions-focused able to build processes from scratch
- Willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check
- Valid UK driving licence preferred
Desirable
- Background in operations, scheduling, or workforce coordination
- Exposure to a regulated or contract-driven service environment
- Interest in progressing towards a senior operations or management role
Training & Development
We invest in our people. You’ll receive structured on-the-job training across every area of this role — from rota management and tender writing to contract compliance and quality improvement. You won’t be thrown in at the deep end; you’ll be supported every step of the way by an experienced management team.
What We’ll Train You In
- Service compliance and regulatory requirements
- Care commissioning and local authority contracting
- Tender writing and bid management
- Rota and workforce scheduling systems
- Quality improvement methodologies
What You’ll Bring
- Graduate-level analytical thinking
- Financial and numerical literacy
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ambition to grow into a senior operational role
- A structured, process-driven approach to problem solving
