Overview
At P&P, the painting is the backdrop, but the Host is the main event. We are looking for Creative Service Providers who can turn a blank canvas into a 10/10 night out. This is a service-based agreement for freelancers who specialise in:
- High-Tempo Facilitation: You don’t just “teach”; you deliver a high-energy, cheeky, and inclusive social event.
- Professional Crowd Control: Whether it’s a rowdy hens’ party or a high-stakes corporate team build.
- Atmosphere Engineering: Curating the playlist, driving the energy, and ensuring every guest is having the time of their life.
Service Delivery:
- Event Hosting: Leading the session as the primary facilitator, providing clear instructions and engaging commentary to keep the energy high.
- Artistic Guidance: Aiding guests with their paintings, offering technical tips, and helping individuals of all skill levels create a “masterpiece” they’re proud of.
- Beverage Service: Assisting with the service of drinks to ensure a premium, hospitable experience for all guests.
- Mobile Events: Providing hosting services for external events at specialist venues or corporate locations as required.
- Session Management: Managing the flow of the event, including the initial studio setup and the pack-down of creative materials following the session.
Skills
- Exceptional Public Speaking: The ability to confidently command a room of 20–40 people with professional poise and a touch of humour.
- Technical Artistic Skill: A strong foundation in painting and the ability to demonstrate techniques clearly to a beginner.
- Reliability & Professionalism: As an independent contractor, you are responsible for managing your own schedule and maintaining high service standards.
- Main Character Energy: You should be high-energy, personable, and capable of making every guest feel welcome and successful.
