We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Excavator Operator to join a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Eggborough, Goole.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and competent operator with experience in civil engineering or infrastructure environments. The initial works are expected to run for a minimum of 3 weeks, with potential for ongoing work beyond this point depending on performance and project requirements.
Role Responsibilities
Operating excavators ranging from 5 tonne to 25 tonne safely and efficiently on site
Carrying out grading and loading activities as part of the project works
Undertaking general groundwork duties when required, including working on the ground to support site progress
Working around existing services and following permit systems where required
Assisting groundworkers as needed to maintain productivity
Completing daily plant checks and reporting any defects
Following site health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
Valid CPCS or NPORS card for Excavator
Proven experience operating excavators on construction or civil engineering projects
Ability and willingness to work both in and out of the machine as required
Good awareness of site health and safety practices
Reliable, team focused and able to follow site instructions
Experience working around services or infrastructure is beneficial
Pay and Details
£22.00 to £27.00 per hour CIS depending on experience
11 hours per day (07:00 - 18:00)
Minimum 3 week duration with potential for further work
