We are now looking for a Housekeeper to join our friendly team.
About the role
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our home remains clean, safe and welcoming for residents, visitors and colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring resident bedrooms, communal areas and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Creating a pleasant, comfortable and safe environment for residents and visitors.
- Using cleaning products and equipment correctly and safely, following company policies and COSHH guidance.
- Carrying out daily, weekly and deep cleaning schedules.
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or concerns promptly.
- Supporting infection prevention and control standards.
- Working closely with colleagues across the home to deliver an outstanding resident experience.
- Promoting residents' dignity, privacy and independence at all times.
About you
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a positive difference to the lives of older people.
Required knowledge and experience
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment, including carpet cleaners.
- Experience of using cleaning products safely and effectively.
- Understanding of data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
- Awareness of workplace health and safety requirements, including COSHH.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to prioritise workloads and adapt to the needs of residents.
