Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible CCTV Control Room Operator to monitor and safeguard premises through advanced surveillance systems. This role involves overseeing security footage, responding to incidents, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent report-writing skills, and the ability to act swiftly in emergency situations. Responsibilities
- Monitor multiple CCTV screens continuously to observe activity across designated areas.
- Detect and respond promptly to suspicious or unusual behaviour, reporting incidents as necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of surveillance activities, incidents, and observations through accurate report writing.
- Coordinate with security personnel and emergency services when required, providing real-time information.
- Conduct routine checks on surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist in implementing security protocols and procedures to enhance safety measures.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, adhering to established health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- SIA Badge + Minimum 1 year experience in this field
- Proven experience or training in surveillance operations is highly desirable.
- Strong report-writing skills with attention to detail and clarity.
- Basic knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to respond calmly in emergencies.
- Excellent observational skills with the capacity to remain alert during long shifts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of vigilance.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
