Salary details: Grade 7, £28,598 - £31,537 plus 8.5% all-inclusive allowance
(Pay award pending) Additional Payments for sleep-ins.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 Hours per week
Flexible working arrangements: a rota which includes evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and bank holidays as we are open 365 days a year

Eden Lodge and Wickett Hern Road are registered services which provide respite for adults who have a learning disability and or associated physical disabilities.
The Properties comprise of 8 ground floor bedrooms and ten 1st floor bedrooms in total, between the two premises, As part of the team at Respite Services, the Respite Co-ordinator will ensure that patterns of care and support within the shift are based on the principles of good quality care ensuring that safeguarding legislation is maintained and reflecting control, cleanliness, comfort, safety, participation, involvement, privacy, dignity and choice
As part of the management team at Respite services, the Respite Co-ordinator will lead by example to ensure that patterns of care and support within the shift are based on the principles of good quality care ensuring that safeguarding legislation is maintained and reflecting control, cleanliness, comfort, safety, participation, involvement, privacy, dignity and choice. The care within the service will be provided in accordance with the Statements of Purpose of the Service and Directorate Policy and Procedures
As the Shift Manager of the Service, it means you will have the responsibility to provide a high-quality respite service as required by the Care Quality Commission and DMBC contractual residential standards. The Respite Co-ordinator will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service as part of a structured rota management system and will be required to sleep in as part of your duties.
