Nantwich based company looking for a HGV Class 1 driver with manual work involved. We are looking for someone who would work well in a small busy team. Please read the Brief Job description and requirements below before applying.

Job description – Brief:
· Driving Tractor units, trailers & Rigids
· To travel to Winsford when requested to support our ongoing contract with a Pump Company driving transit pick-ups, 7.5 tonne Flat Bed and 6 Wheel Crane Lorry – delivering Pumps, Pipes and general related equipment.
· Hiab ticket advantageous – successful candidate could be trained accordingly.
· To help with loading and unloading (via trailer steps)
· To be able to use safety side straps, strap/chain on difficult loads
· Be able to work at trailer height
· Be able to rollup 100’s of meters of flat fire hose, mostly on uneven ground.
· Drive a Fork Lift Truck advantageous
· Help maintain basic checks and preparation on 7.5T to 44T vehicles & trailers
· Nights away (Hotels & Own Tractor Unit)
· Weekend work, as needed to fulfil our client’s requirements.
· Occasional early starts eg. 4 am, late finishes 10pm. Up to 15 hr days on occasions.
· Be able to handle bagged food waste for transportation back to yard.
· General yard work
We require:
Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
Have current CPC – to provide copies of documents
National Insurance number
Right to work in the UK
Full UK Driving Licence
Good level of English
