Cleaning Team Leader
Location: Teesside, County Durham & North Yorkshire
Pay: £15.00 - £16.50 per hour based on experience
Hours: 20-35 hours per week - can discuss at interview

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Cleaning Team Leader / Area to support our domestic, commercial, end of tenancy contracts across the North East.
This is a hands-on role for someone who leads by example, takes pride in high standards, and enjoys supporting and developing people.
You'll be joining a supportive management team, working closely with our Directors to ensure our customers receive an exceptional service every time.
The Role
No two days are the same.
You could be carrying out quality audits in the morning, supporting a team on a commercial site at lunchtime, organising holiday cover in the afternoon, and conducting a quote visit before heading home.
You'll be responsible for:
✅ Supporting, motivating and developing our cleaning teams
✅ Ensuring high cleaning standards across domestic, commercial and end of tenancy sites
✅ Carrying out regular quality audits and site inspections
✅ Building positive relationships with clients and resolving issues professionally
✅ Organising holiday and sickness cover to ensure continuity of service
✅ Managing cleaning stock, equipment and consumables
✅ Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
✅ Completing site visits, customer meetings and quote appointments
✅ Providing hands-on cleaning support when required
✅ Promoting a positive culture where teamwork, respect and customer service come first

Essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous cleaning experience - at least 2 years
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Professional and positive approach
Desirable
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience
- Experience managing multiple sites
- Commercial cleaning experience
- End of tenancy cleaning experience
- Key holder responsibilities
