Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a lively environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, working in a dynamic setting that values teamwork, efficiency, and a friendly attitude.
MUST be able to travel to Grassington during opening hours. Please do not apply if you can’t work evenings AND full weekends.
Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area according to food safety standards
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
- Restock bar supplies and manage stock levels effectively
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Provide friendly assistance and respond promptly to customer enquiries
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
- Strong communication skills and a personable manner are essential
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and customer safety
- Must be 18+ to work solo shifts and lock up.
