We have an exciting role on offer within our Prevention, Provider and Support Services as a Digital Inclusion Apprentice on a fixed term contract upto 18 months.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with excellent communication skills, and an interest in supporting others in the community to get online and build digital skills and confidence.
Please state in your application form any experience that you have to demonstrate that you can meet the following requirements:
Have a good knowledge of various digital devices and their operation.
That you have the ability to interact with customers and service users face to face and on the telephone with a pleasant manner.
You are confident in working in an office environment handling calls, emails and data.
Good ICT and keyboard skills
Include all your relevant experience and Maths and English qualifications, also, any ICT qualifications (these are not essential).
The Rekindle Digital Inclusion Service sits within Prevention, Provider and Support Services to help people stay independent, safe and well.
We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to delivering a high-quality service to those we support. You will be working within a team of Digital Inclusion and Community Caseworkers to deliver a practical support and guidance to older, disabled and vulnerable individuals to help them build digital skills and confidence so they can access a wide range of online services and information. You will also be required to support with a range of administration skills including screening digital inclusion referrals and data entry. You will work from a range of venues, including our offices at Middlesbrough Independent Living Services, Cavendish House, Middlesbrough, TS4 3EB, as well as community venues such as Hubs and Libraries.
