Full job description

We are a UK registered charity that looks after orphan children in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, and we run many projects to alleviate poverty for the needy people of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide support to our staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative assistance, managing office supplies, and handling incoming and outgoing mail. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is reliable, has a positive attitude, and is eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

Answer and direct phone calls.
Maintain filing systems.
Schedule appointments and meetings.
Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or office.
Prepare reports and presentations.
Manage office supplies and equipment.
Assist with data entry and filing tasks.
Events management

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with flexibility required to assist at fundraising events on a few evenings and weekends during seasonal demand.

We are looking for candidates who drive and have their own car.

The ability to communicate in the Urdu/Punjabi language will be an advantage.

A minimum of 2 years admin experience is required.
