A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer/Fee Earning Paralegal to join a reputable firm in Leicester.
This position is to work as part of a Team in the Residential Conveyancing Department working directly under a Senior Property Solicitor assisting in the day to day running of files. You will be responsible at a minimum of running the sale files from start to finish and be able to run freehold purchases from the onset of this position. Moving on from freehold sale and purchases you will then advance to Leasehold properties.
At a minimum you must be able to confidently run Sale Property Files from start to finish inclusive of drafting contracts, raising enquiries and post completion work and work independently as well as deal with freehold purchases.
You must possess a minimum of 12 months experience in this area of law and be fully confident in the process.
You must already be responsible for the handling of your own case load in sale properties.

The successful candidate must also have strong communication and organisational skills as well as being able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Required skills:
- Opening and closing files
- Providing quotations and preparing Client Care Letters
- Conducting Land Registry Searches
- Ordering Searches
- Conducting AML ID Checks
- Reporting to Clients
- Drafting sales contracts and dealing with enquiries
- Confident telephone manner when liaising with clients and third parties
- Requesting redemption statements and management packs
- Post Completion matters
