Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Design Manager to join the studio team to both design and produce our range of world class books and manage our established graphic design book team.
Credible and passionate about developing a high performing team, you will be responsible for setting the direction and ambition for your team as you manage and optimise their activities to ensure all quality standards are met. You will inspire trust and confidence in others as you apply your design experience to set clear goals and provide feedback and direction to graphic designers through individual and peer review feedback sessions.
Highly organised and with high standards of excellence, we will see you drive an ever increasing standard of product by ensuring the design, layout and photography elements of the design brief are met, and that all elements follow the IP and style of the range. We will look to you to actively seek opportunities to create improvements in efficiency and quality and ensure that all your team’s work is delivered on time, and to the highest quality.
Thriving through collaborating with others, you will work closely with Brand Managers and Schedulers to build schedules to ensure projects can be delivered on time. We’ll see you regularly working with Marketing, Licensing and other internal teams to confidently make decisions and ensure all work is delivered to the agreed schedule. A confident communicator, you will articulately communicate ideas and decisions in a way that can be understood by a variety of audiences.
Suitable applicants for this role should have a strong background in book design. If your passion is book design and typography and you understand the creative disciplines that contribute to making Warhammer books and want to help us make them forever, this could be the job for you!
