We’re looking for an experienced Print Production Manager to take ownership of our production floor and drive efficiency, quality, and innovation.
The Role
You’ll be at the heart of our operation—overseeing the full production process from file to final output. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance strategic planning with day-to-day management of people, machinery, and workflow.
Print, finishing, cutting, assembly, collation and packing all rely on you to efficiently plan the next stages
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the production team across all large format print processes
- Oversee workflow planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet tight deadlines
- Ensure consistent output quality across a range of substrates and finishing techniques
- Monitor and improve production efficiency, minimising waste and downtime
- Adapt to the constantly changing schedules and keep our production portal up to date with changes during the day so departments have full visibility
- Liaise with the relevant departments/managers to maintain and optimise large format printers, RIP software, and finishing equipment
- Collaborate with studio to ensure seamless project delivery
- Uphold health & safety standards across the production floor
- Train, mentor, and develop team members
About You
- Proven experience in a print production management role, ideally within large format
- Strong technical knowledge of print processes, materials, and finishing
- Hands-on experience with wide-format printers and finishing equipment to support the team with best approach and problem solving
- A natural leader with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-driven with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
- Confident communicator who can motivate teams and liaise across departments
