Memorial Advisor (Part Time)
We are looking for a compassionate, organised, and professional Memorial Advisor to join our dedicated team. This role involves supporting families in selecting and arranging meaningful memorials and remembrance products for their loved ones, providing guidance with care, sensitivity, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with families to discuss memorial options and provide caring, professional advice
- Assist clients with memorial designs, inscriptions, materials, and personalisation choices
- Advise families on a range of after-funeral memorialisation products, including stone masonry, keepsakes, ashes memorials, jewellery, plaques, and bespoke tributes
- Support families in creating lasting and meaningful ways to remember loved ones following the funeral service
- Manage keepsakes and stone masonry orders from enquiry through to completion
- Liaise with stonemasons, suppliers, and local authorities where required
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain excellent customer service standards throughout every interaction
- Support the upkeep and presentation of memorial displays and office areas
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate and professional approach when dealing with bereaved families
- Confident using computer systems and handling administrative tasks
- Full driving licence
- Previous customer service, sales, memorial, or bereavement care experience advantageous, but not essential

The ideal candidate will be pro-active, empathetic, approachable, self-motivated and able to support families with patience and understanding. You should be confident discussing sensitive topics and helping families choose meaningful memorials and remembrance options tailored to their wishes.
Position Details:
- 30 hours plus optional overtime up to 40 hours, permanent position
- Some flexibility may be required to meet family and business needs
- Full training and ongoing support provided
