PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE NURSING PIN NUMBER WITH THE NMC
Hi, I’m Chris, the founder and director of a successful, growing training company with a big mission and a proven track record. We’ve built a small but passionate team that’s fun, relaxed, and empowering to work with, yet we’re serious about the impact we make. Our goal is simple but powerful: to help people learn in ways that are truly engaging, meaningful, and even a little bit magical.
We specialise in delivering interactive, high-quality training to the healthcare industry, schools, restaurants, charities, and more. Our commitment to excellence has earned us over 350 five-star reviews on Google and Trustpilot, and we’re proud of the reputation we’ve built for going the extra mile.
Now, we’re looking for an exceptional Trainer to join our close-knit team and help us build on that reputation.
Trainer (Part-Time – 30 hours per week)
Salary: £23,500 per year
This isn’t just a training role. It’s an opportunity to be part of something special. As one of our Trainers, you’ll deliver a wide range of fun, interactive, face-to-face training sessions to our customers – primarily within the East Midlands, with occasional travel further afield. You’ll take our professionally designed training courses and bring them to life using our projector, activities, games, and materials. We work closely together as a team. We share ideas, support one another, celebrate wins, and constantly look at how we can improve. We’re small enough that your voice matters and big enough to have an outstanding reputation – and we’re determined to keep raising the bar.
You may also deliver sessions via Zoom and occasionally present to larger groups. Wherever you’re delivering, your focus will be the same: creating an engaging, safe, welcoming learning environment where people genuinely enjoy learning and remember what they’ve learned.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
As a Trainer, you will:
- Deliver our pre-designed training courses in line with the training directive
- Consistently achieve an “Excellent” rating in your training delivery
- Create a safe, effective, and welcoming learning environment
- Ensure every learner is engaged, involved, and supported
- Ensure all learners are registered and provide feedback
- Use all training materials and equipment safely and effectively
- Collect and return all materials to our communal storage before and after each session
- Report any damaged, ineffective, or missing equipment to the director or line manager
- Ensure you have a suitable vehicle (and backup solution) to attend assigned sessions
- Achieve the KPIs assigned to you
We’re proud of our standards, and we’re looking for someone who shares that pride.
What We’re Looking For
- Nursing experience (3 years preferred)
- Training experience (2 years preferred)
- Nursing Pin (essential)
- NMC Registration (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is professional, reliable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about helping people learn.
What You’ll Get
- Mileage paid
- Paid lunch time
- Pension scheme
- Subsistence allowance for trade shows
- Car parking costs covered by the company
- All equipment provided
- Blue Sky Social Card for fantastic online and high-street discounts
- 28 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays)
- Two-week Christmas and New Year shutdown (taken from annual leave allowance)
- Your birthday off as an additional annual leave day
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: On the road (primarily East Midlands, with occasional travel further afield requiring overnight stays away)
If you’re looking to join a company where you’ll be trusted, supported, and valued, where you’ll work closely with a friendly, ambitious team and where your training truly makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Let’s continue building something we’re proud of.
