Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring correct dosages and labeling.
Assist patients with medication inquiries, providing clear guidance on usage, storage, and potential side effects.
Prepare and package medications with precision, following all safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain organized records of dispensed prescriptions, inventory levels, and medication stock.
Support the pharmacy team in managing stock replenishment and verifying medication expiration dates.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all dispensing activities.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions or address patient concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is highly preferred.
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems.
Strong commitment to patient care, confidentiality, and accuracy in all tasks.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to regulatory guidelines diligently.
Certification or licensing as required by local health authorities is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
