Position Summary

Logistics done differently.

Are you looking to use your warehouse and FLT experience in a new role? Do you like the sound of working on a large, complex operation with one of the biggest names in logistics? Are you ready for your next challenge?

We’re looking to bring in a Warehouse operative/FLT driver on the day shift, rotating 4 on 4 off days, for our new contract in Leicestershire. Based at their production facility, you’ll be responsible for picking and loading a factory fed warehouse operation.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of £12.97 per hr with a 1.25% increase for any overtime an a 1.5% on a Sat&Sun . In addition, we offer 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Handling and putting away palletised goods
Stacking and handling palletsed goods onto trailers
Driving on-site loading efficiency and looking at ways we can improve

What you need to succeed at XPO:

A track record of operating an FLT truck
A focus on health and safety
Experience within Warehousing would be beneficial
Counterbalance license B1
Minimum of 2 years counterbalance experience
Preferred but not essential experience with double handling but training will be given
