Business Analyst – Oracle Fusion Finance Systems

Leicester (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Start: ASAP
Employment Type: Fixed Term Employment Contract/ Contract Inside IR35

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Finance Systems team, supporting a portfolio of financial applications and services across the organisation.

As we progress through an exciting modernisation and transformation journey, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our finance systems landscape. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your ideas are welcomed and your expertise can directly influence strategic outcomes.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to analyse current processes, define future-state solutions, and drive meaningful change, ensuring our systems and practices continue to evolve efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements, ensuring alignment across stakeholders
Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to translate business needs into clear functional and operational requirements
Produce and maintain high-quality documentation for systems, processes, and workflows
Evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities and recommend practical solutions
Conduct research and analysis to assess alternative approaches, including process changes and system enhancements, providing balanced and cost-effective recommendations
Build strong, collaborative relationships with finance and business stakeholders to ensure effective communication, engagement, and delivery

What you will bring

Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with strong expertise in finance-related processes and systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
A proactive, adaptable team player who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering value
Experience working within Agile delivery environments, including user story creation and backlog refinement
Prior exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials or similar enterprise financial systems is advantageous
