Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous restaurant experience and a passion for hospitality are highly valued. The successful applicant will be organised, efficient, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
Assist with food preparation and organise tables for incoming guests
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas, including tables, counters, and stations
Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods with excellent time management skills

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Basic maths skills for processing bills and payments accurately
Familiarity with food preparation or kitchen experience is advantageous
Strong guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy shifts
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
Must have legal right to work in the UK
Willing to work evenings, weekends & holidays
