Full job description

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic & highly motivated ACP or Paramedic to join our friendly practice team. We are a 2-site practice providing high quality care to 15,500 patients at two sites in Chellaston & Melbourne. The clinical team already includes 5 GP partners, 4 Salaried GPs, 1 ANPs dealing with Urgent Care for patients aged 12wks+, 2 Practice nurses, 2 Nurse Associates, 2 Clinical Pharmacists, 1 Mental Health Practitioner and 1 First Contact Physiotherapist. We are a GMS practice using SystmOne

We are looking for the right individual with experience in urgent care, minor ailments and injuries, who is confident in working independently yet able to work collaboratively with other members of the primary care team. You will assess, examine, diagnose and treat patients 12 weeks and over who need to be seen urgently and be involved in clinical performance expectations within general practice.

Independent prescribing degree essential, GP practice experience preferable, however we would consider an experienced ANP/Paramedic with prescribing qualifications from Ambulance Service, A&E, Walk-in centre and out of hours. We encourage staff development & support training.

Salary is dependent on experience & qualifications.

Hours are negotiable.

Urgent care clinics usually start between 08.30 - 9.30am.

This is a Fixed Term Contract due to funding restrictions in place until 31st March 2027.

Pay: Up to £60,000.00 per year
