We have an exciting opportunity to join our Administration team at our flagship City Hub campus. As an Apprentice Administrator, you'll play an important role in helping our curriculum areas run smoothly while developing valuable skills and experience that will support your future career.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn while you work, gaining hands-on experience in a busy and supportive environment. You'll develop your administrative, communication and organisational skills, working alongside experienced colleagues who will support your learning and professional growth every step of the way.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with both people and information. You'll develop confidence in handling data accurately, supporting a variety of administrative processes, and providing excellent customer service to colleagues, students and visitors. Whether working as part of a team or taking responsibility for your own tasks, you'll be encouraged to grow, contribute and achieve your potential.
Key responsibilities of the role include:

Providing high-quality administrative support to the Assistant Principal and wider City Hub team.

Supporting the administration of internal audit activities, including arranging meetings, tracking progress and preparing reports, letters and meeting notes.

Responding to telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner, seeking guidance where needed.

Learning how to support meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, collating papers and sharing information with internal and external stakeholders.

Developing skills in handling data accurately and maintaining administrative records and systems.
Through this apprenticeship, you'll gain practical workplace experience, build your confidence and develop transferable skills that will help you progress in your career while making a positive contribution to the success of Nottingham College and the students we serve.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and eager to learn; working towards fulfilling the responsibilities of a Senior Faculty Administrator throughout your apprenticeship. You’ll have a positive attitude, a willingness to develop new skills, and an eye for detail when completing tasks. You'll enjoy working with others as part of a team while also building the confidence to take initiative and manage your own responsibilities.
Above all, you'll share our commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone. Through your friendly and professional approach, you'll support colleagues, students and visitors, helping to create a positive environment where everyone feels valued and able to succeed.
On completion of your Apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to move into a permanent role of a Senior Faculty Administrator at band 5 (£26,478 - £29,234 per annum).
