Casual Car Documentation - The successful candidate will be a designated Casual Car User which means that car journeys may be necessary on an occasional basis, but are not essential to the role. If you do drive, you must always hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car for use at work, as well as provide all the appropriate documentation. You will receive an allowance per mile of business use.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Visitor Experience team at Heaton Park as an Education Coordinator on a temporary basis.
This role is instrumental in ensuring that we have a STEAM offer available at Heaton Park, using our extensive natural landscape, heritage and animal assets to encourage high quality learning opportunities through self-led and guided visits, work experience and workplace safaris. One day you'll be working with a local school and delivering a 'Muddy Maps' session, the next you'll be working directly with a community organisation to deliver a visit tailored to adult learners.
This role will involve income generation, through both paid school educational sessions and securing funding opportunities. This role also includes collaborative working across Heaton Park and the wider Parks Service alongside new and existing stakeholders, charities and community organisations.
If you're successful in this role, you'll join the Visitor Experience team at Heaton Park as we move from strength to strength with our delivery of an outstanding visitor offer.
