We're a family-owned care provider with big ambitions for what elderly care can be. Our focus on wellness, compassion, trust and belonging runs through everything we do - from the care we provide and the environments we create to the way we communicate with families and our wider community.

Right now, we're entering a particularly exciting chapter. Alongside our existing home, Cherry Tree House, we're preparing to open Wendover Manor, our new purpose-built care home in Wendover. We're growing our team, developing our brand and have plenty of stories to tell.

We're looking for a creative and digitally confident Marketing & Communications Executive to help us tell them.

About The Role

This is a varied, hands-on marketing role where you'll have the opportunity to get involved in a little bit of everything. One day you might be creating content from an event in one of our homes; the next, publishing a website article, planning a social campaign, briefing our paid media agency or spotting a brilliant story that deserves a wider audience. Working closely with our Head of Marketing & Communications and teams across Salveo Care, you'll help with:

Creating engaging written, visual and digital content
Managing and growing our social media channels
Keeping our website fresh, accurate and engaging
Supporting digital campaigns, paid search and paid media
Finding and developing PR and storytelling opportunities
Supporting events, campaigns and community initiatives
Monitoring performance and using insights to improve what we do
Helping protect and strengthen the Salveo Care brand

You'll also work directly with external agencies, including coordinating paid search and media activity, monitoring performance and making recommendations about what we could do better.

Most importantly, you'll spend time with the people who make Salveo Care what it is. Our best content doesn't come from sitting behind a desk trying to think of something to post – it comes from noticing the stories happening around us every day.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone creative, curious and full of ideas, but who also has the organisation and attention to detail to turn those ideas into great work.

You'll ideally have experience within marketing, communications, content or digital marketing and be comfortable working across several different channels.

You'll be someone who:

Writes brilliantly and knows how to adapt their tone for different audiences
Has a good eye for content and understands what makes people stop scrolling
Is confident with social media, websites and digital marketing
Understands that good marketing should achieve something and enjoys looking at the data to see whether it has
Can juggle different projects without losing sight of the details
Is happy working independently but enjoys collaborating with others
Spots opportunities and acts on them rather than waiting to be told
Cares about getting things right and representing a brand authentically

Experience with WordPress, SEO, paid media, PR, events, email marketing or content creation tools would be a bonus, but we don't expect one person to be an expert in everything.
