Job Summary
We are looking for a Bartenders with a passion for Cocktails and hospitality, to join a busy team at Distilled Bar! We are one of Ipswich’s premium independent late-night venues. Open 7 days a week offering our guests a friendly, memorable experience whether it’s the DJs at the weekend, poker with margaritas, or chess with wine, we cater to everyone no one shifts the same.
Bar experience and knowledge of cocktails is preferred, however full training will be given so don't be shy. The position is primarily for Friday and Saturdays (with potential for more)
and will involve working evenings and weekends.
Basic Requirements:
- Candidates must be over 18
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive and engaging personality.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong task and time management abilities.
Ideal Requirements:
- You need good interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for service.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Effective time management in a fast-paced bar.
- Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
Bartender Responsibilities:
- Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Able to provide a quick and efficient service, making drinks to spec and suiting the guests needs.
- Maintaining a clean bar by removing trash, cleaning tables, washing glasses, and equipment.
Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
