We are looking for a passionate professional to become our next Head Spa Practitioner & Hair and Scalp Specialist. Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver Luxury & Targeted Treatments: Perform customized scalp treatments, targeted therapies, and holistic head spa services to create a deeply relaxing, rejuvenating, and effective experience for every client.
- Scalp Health Consultation: Learn to analyze scalp conditions and provide professional advice on scalp health routines, treatments, and retail product recommendations.
- Front-of-House Support: Help manage the salon's daily flow by assisting with client bookings, phone/email inquiries, and welcoming guests at reception.
- Maintain the Oasis: Ensure the treatment and spa areas remain clean, organized, and tranquil.
- Cross-Trained Skillset: (For Beauty/Massage backgrounds) Learn and perform professional blow-drying and basic styling services to complete the client's experience (no coloring required).
What We Are Looking For: We are welcoming applications from two distinct professional backgrounds:
- Path A: The Hairdressing Route Qualified to SVQ Level 3 in Hairdressing (or equivalent). Looking to branch out from traditional styling/colouring into specialized scalp care, treatments, and wellness.
- Path B: The Beauty / Massage Therapy Route Relevant qualifications in Massage Therapy or Beauty Therapy. Excited to move into the hair and scalp wellness industry (you will be fully trained in blow-drying; cutting/colouring is not required).
General Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (fluent English required for front-of-house duties).
- Warm, personable, and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills to handle reception duties and bookings smoothly.
- A genuine passion for client well-being, scalp health, and the beauty/wellness industry.
Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
