Kilconquhar Castle Estate Full-Time | Weekend Availability Required

Kilconquhar Castle Estate is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to join our maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working in a varied, hands-on role within a beautiful estate setting.

As part of our maintenance team, you will help ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our self-catering villas, hotel accommodation, and wider estate facilities, providing a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance and repair work across the estate.
Assist with the upkeep of self-catering villas, hotel rooms, and public areas.
Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
Maintain external areas and estate facilities as required.
Support the wider maintenance team with projects and planned works.
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.

About You

Previous experience in a similar maintenance, facilities, or property maintenance role is preferred.
Practical skills across a range of maintenance disciplines, including basic plumbing, painting, decorating, and general repairs.
A proactive approach and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexible and dependable, with the ability to work weekends as part of a rota.
Full UK driving licence required.
